On this website, you will find videos recorded with one of my cameras, one of the two DJI Osmo pocket cameras, the Sony Ultra High Definition / High Definition Video Handycam, or the Contour action cameras, links to websites I find interesting, or sites I have created for others. You will also find information about myself and much more...
I was born on January 25, 1965, in Rotterdam, the youngest of twins. I still live in Rotterdam, where I work as a Customer Support Specialist at ABB Marine & Ports (Asea Brown Boveri). Together with my twin brother Ed, we came into this world two months early; in 1965, twins were not yet an everyday phenomenon, and we were born with great interest in the former hospital known as "Dijkzicht," now University Medical Center Rotterdam (UMC Rotterdam). After primary school and technical secondary school, I started working at the age of sixteen as an electrical panel engineer in the Low Voltage Panels (LVS) department at Asea Brown Boveri, then still known as "Brown, Boveri & Cie."
I started doing sports at the age of 19; before that, I was in three orchestras, playing different instumenrs, like trompet, bugel and later a French Horn, but that ended after my military service. From 1985, I worked as a sports instructor on Thursday evenings at Loek Hollander's gym, but after the gym stopped (bankrupt) stopped as a instructor, I now train at a David Lloyd branch.
Or rather, I did...From 1985 until 2012, I practiced the noble sport of Kyokushinkai Karate; this is a full-contact form of karate, in which I am allowed to wear the brown belt.
I first started karate at the dojo of Loek Hollander, one of the founders of Kyokushin karate in the Netherlands, with Peter Voogt, Vlado Haljer, and Fernando Alonso as Shian. Later, Shihan Vlado Haljer started his own dojo, and I joined him. Shihan Haljer has two dojos in Rotterdam and Barendrecht.
Take a look or try out at "Katshu Heiwa"
For a lot of things I have done, I have received a certificate. Top-roping at "Monte Cervino", this is on the mountain where you can climb on a climbing wall with friends.
Obtained my Paragliding Certificate A in the French Alps at the first paragliding school in the Netherlands this school stopped the activity in the alps

Compared to the first version, this Osmo Pocket features a powerful 1-inch sensor. A large CMOS sensor and 4K/120fps [1] UHD recording capture experiences in dynamic, buttery-smooth detail. Three-axis stabilization enables smooth, stable handheld shooting. Adjust the rotation speed of the Osmo Pocket 3 to suit the scene to follow different tempos. 2-inch rotatable touchscreen With the improved OLED touchscreen, you can easily switch between horizontal and vertical shooting or tap to adjust parameters and subject tracking.
The DJI Osmo Pocket is the smallest 3-axis stabilized handheld camera DJI has ever designed. With minimal size and weight, it is your ideal travel companion that you can simply slip into your pocket. In terms of performance, the DJI Osmo Pocket is in no way inferior to the larger Osmo versions. The maximum speed of 120 degrees per second and the new algorithm for extra stable image ensure that you won't see any movement, even when filming from a roller coaster. The Pocket Osmo is equipped with exactly the same camera as the DJI Mavic 2 drones and therefore also features Object Tracking, so your camera automatically keeps following an object! The latest version with more options was released in 2020.
The Sony 4K camcorder with Balanced Optical SteadyShot features fully manual operation and is all housed in a compact casing. Crawling across the floor or striding across the stage, life is full of powerful moments. The Sony 4K camcorder captures them in ultra-detail in 4K quality with this compact FDR-AX33.
My first Contour HD180 camera; it has been through quite a lot in the past few years. The housing is made of light and strong aluminum.
This second Contour features GPS tracking so you can see how fast and where you filmed.
The latest version is waterproof up to 10 m and can also be used for diving without an underwater cover.
Over the years, I have posted a few videos that are accessible to everyone.
